Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the governorship election in Ondo State.
He was declared winner by Prof. Oluwafemi Adewunmi the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja who is also Electoral Officer of the exercise said Aiyedatiwa of APC, having polled 366,781 votes, while Agboola Ajayi of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 117,845 votes.
Following by the Candidate of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) Abass Mimiko polled 2,693 and Olugbenga Edema of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) scored 206 votes.
