ADEMOLA ODUDU AND OTHERS TAKE OATH OF OFFICE AS CHAIRMAN NURTW, ONDO STATE CHAPTER

The newly elected Chairman of National Union Of Road Transport Workers NURTW, Ondo State Council, Comrade Ademola Odudu has been sworn in as substantial Chairman.
Speaking during the swearing in ceremony and presentation of certificate to the newly appointed chairman, the national chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, Alhaji Musilliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC OLUOMO, said Ademola Odudu is the right peg in the right hole.
“He is a gentle man to the core that will never geopidize with the welfare of his people,” he equipped.
Positions that have been also sworn in were Deputy Chairman, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary and Financial Secretary amongst others
The National Chairman of NURTW, Alh. Musilliu Akinsanya MC OLUOMO was later presented with a prestigious award of Ambassador of PEACE by the newly sworn-in of Ondo State Chairman of NURTW, Comrade Ademola Odudu.
The National Chairman of the union admonished the newly sworn in Ondo State Chairman, Comrade Ademola Odudu to be magnanimous in victory by ensuring that he makes the welfare of former leaders of the Union, State Officers, Branch Chairmen, Unit Chairmen and all drivers under his canopy his topmost priorities.
He described Odudu as a leader with an heart of gold, he however urged him never to relax on his oar at ensuring that no driver goes to bed on empty stomach.
Oluomo commended the Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his support for the Union, stating that the Union will continue to support him and his policies geared towards alleviating the suffering of the people.
In his words, Comrade Ademola Odudu appreciated the National President, National Secretary, and other top brass of the Union from Abuja for coming to perform the swearing ceremony and promised never to disappoint them in the performance of his duties as the Ondo State Chairman of NURTW in the next four years.
” You are a peace loving National Chairman of NURTW, this is the reason, this Ambassador of PEACE AWARD is being bestowed on you today, you have brought peace to NURTW in Ondo State”, he stated.
In his own speech, the Ondo State Secretary of NURTW, Alh. Amosa Sulaiman Adebayo stated that the national leaderships of the Union would continue to inspire them positively in the state adding that they will be looking forward for their guidance and direction in the years ahead
While commending the past leaders of the Union for their unwavering support, he commended the newly sworn-in Chairman for ensuring peace, unity and progress of the Union since he took over as Caretaker Chairman adding that as the newly sworn in state Chairman, the union will witness rapid development.
The highlights of the event was the feature of a popular Akure based musician, Prince Adas Imisi aka ORLANDO Akure and his peace maker band, African beats International.
