AIYEDATIWA, ADELAMI TAKE OATH OF OFFICE AS GOVERNOR AND DEPUTY GOVERNOR

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy Dr. Olayide Adelami have taken the Oath of Office today.
Aiyedatiwa took the oath of office as 7th democratic elected governor of Ondo State at approximately 5:39pm also his Deputy Olayide Adelami was also sworn in as Deputy Governor.
The event took place at Ondo State Sports Council playing ground in Akure, the state capital where Aiyedatiwa appreciated the good people of Ondo State.
Administering the oath of office, the Chief Judge of Ondo State, Justice Olusegun Odusola officially sealed Aiyedatiwa’s mandate as the state executive governor of the State.
The ceremony was attended by some prominent traditional rulers in and outside Ondo State included, Oba Enita Ogunwusi Ojaja 11, Ooni of Ile-Ife (Represented), Chairman , Ondo State Council Of Obas, Oba Dr. Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi Odundun II, Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo Jilo III, The Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Dr. Francis Adefarakanmi Agbede, Ilufemiloye, (Ogidi III), Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III among others.
Also present at the event were APC National Chairman, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, Ondo State APC Chairman Engr. Ade Adetimeyin, Governor of Ekiti State Hon. Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, The Chairman South West Governors Forum and Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Former Governor of Ondo State Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, Former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, Former Governor of Ogun State Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Hon. Abiola Makinde representing Ondo West/East Local governments, Speaker, Ondo State Ho7se of Assembly Rt. Hoñ. Olamide Oladiji, Youth Minister, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, top government officials and APC bigwigs in Ondo State.
In his inaugural speech, Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to the people of Ondo State for their trust and reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling campaign promises. He emphasized key priorities such as infrastructural development, economic growth, job creation, and security enhancement across the state.
