Ondo Polls: APC Allegedly Deploys Six Military Officers and Ex-Militants to Disrupt Elections QA qqaq Arogbo Ward II
By The NewsPostage
Following the recent unit tour of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Arogbo Ward II, the overwhelming support from the electorate has reportedly triggered a desperate response from the All Progressives Congress (APC). Intelligence reports indicate that the APC has orchestrated plans to undermine the electoral process in Arogbo Ward II, Ese-Odo Local Government Area, by deploying six military officers alongside ex-militants disguised in military uniforms to disrupt polling units where the PDP is projected to win.
This alleged scheme is not only a flagrant violation of democratic principles but also exposes the lengths to which the APC is willing to go to suppress the will of the people. Such actions reflect the cowardice and desperation of a party whose policies have impoverished families and exacerbated unemployment across Ondo State and Nigeria.
We call on security agencies to exercise heightened vigilance and ensure the sanctity of the electoral process is preserved. It is imperative that security personnel resist any attempts to be manipulated by partisan actors within the APC. The APC must understand that no individual or group holds an exclusive right to violence or coercion.
To the ex-militants involved, we caution you against participating in these disruptive activities. Arogbo Ward II is a close-knit community where identities are known, and any attempts to compromise the election will not go unnoticed. We urge you to withdraw from this path for the sake of peace and community solidarity.
This statement is issued as a preemptive measure to alert security agencies and the public to these plans. It is rooted in verified intelligence and should not be dismissed as mere propaganda.
Finally, we encourage our supporters to remain resolute and focused on securing victory at the polls. Let us stay vigilant and committed to the democratic process.
