Inflation ;The need for Government, Citizens to cut down cost –Islamic Scholar

The only panacea to curb the current inflation bedevilling the country at the moment is for both the government and the citizens to cut down the wastages .
To this end the Nigerian government must ensure that all forms of economic wastages are curtailed while the citizens also try to live a moderate life style
Speaking with Journalists in osogbo on Sunday the Asiwaju of Yoruba land Edo and Delta States Alhaji Olatunde Badmus said the current inflation challenges has affected small scale industries that engages in production to start cutting down the size cost of production.
According to him the great effect of cutting down size of production will no doubt lead the downside of workforce adding that there is nothing anyone can do about the situation as it were at the moment.
“Some of us that are into Agriculture and also engage in production it is already telling on us .The increase in Tariff for electricity supply is so high now that we are forced to closed down some of the factorizes that is into production.
“On whether the closure will not yield to sacking of workers who are in private sectors ,he said definitely because they have no choice .Some small scale private companies are relocating out of the country due to the high inflation .
” President Ahmed Tinubu in his democracy speech assured Nigerian that better days are coming also admitted that the country and masses are facing difficult times which will not last too long.
“The president equally mentioned the need to diversified the economic by everyone engaging in Agriculture .You know if you are into Agriculture you must be patients for your produce to matured before harvesting .I do know that we will sammasult from this challenges in shortest possible time “.
Badmus who said Nigerian people have started adjusting to the realities of inflation said ” go to the streets you will see that the rate of people moving their cars has drastically reduced. The cost of Diesel has started dropping, Premium motor spirit PMS too will also come down but its going to be a gradual process .”
He,however, appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the federal government as hard doest not last forever
