ONDO NUJ 2024 PRESS WEEK BEGINS WITH CHURCH THANKSGIVING
— As Senior Apostle Michael Foloso Harps on importance of thanksgiving, he commends the Ondo NUJ for appreciating God
— The Union holds Free Medical Outreach, Charity Visitation today

The Nigeria Union of journalists, (NUJ), Ondo State Council has began its 2024 Press week with church thanksgiving as part of activities outlined for the celebration.
The members of the Union trooped out in large numbers to attend the thanksgiving service which took place at Salvation Gospel International centre, Akure, the State Capital.
According to him, the General Oversea of Salvation Gospel International Centre, Akure, Senior Apostle Michael Foluso during his sermon said appreciation is what God cherish most as he will never share his glory with anybody.
“Isaiah 42:8 says, “I am the Lord, that is my name; I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to idols”, the Senior Apostle Foluso quoted.
He however Harped on importance of thanksgiving and commended Ondo NUJ for appreciating God, he said for the Union to have decided to come before God is not by anybody’s power but by the God grace.
Earlier, the State Chairman of the Union, Prince Leke Adegbite appreciated and thanked some of the elders of the Union and all journalists in Ondo State for their support all the time.
Prince Adegbite also appreciated the members of Salvation Gospel International Centre for their adorable accommodation given to the Union during the thanksgiving saying about 2 years ago same gesture was also done in the church.
“Some will think maybe I have a kind of bias to be coming here every time, but our father in thy lord is just a wonderful man of God”, Prince Adegbite affirmed.
The highlights during the programme was the presentation of drama by the church drama ministry.
The Senior Apostle Mike Foloso later announced the confirmation of pastor Idowu Adesua as Pastoral coordinator of Salvation Gospel International Centre, after three years that he has been pronounced for the position by the General oversea of the church, Senior Apostle Michael Foloso.
