The Chairman Bereau-De-Change in Akure the Ondo State Capital, Alhaji Shagari Hassan has harped on the need for all tribes in Nigeria to live in peace and unity.
He made the disclosure while feiding questions from Journalists in Akure, recently.” Nothing can be achieved in an atmosphere devoid of peace and unity”, he pointed out.
Alhaji Shagari Hassan stated Ondo State is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria pointing out that since the creation of the State in 1976, the Hausa-Arewa,Ibo,Yoruba and other tribes have been living together in harmony and urged them to sustain the tempo.
Alhaji Shagari Hassan who was born and educated in Lagos inherited the business of Bereau De Change from his father.Since he started the business,he has made integrity, honesty and transparency his watch words.He stated that the most happiest day in his life was during the 10th Year Anniversary of Oba (Dr) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi CFR, the Deji of Akure Kingdom.
During the occasion, I led all my people to pay homage to the Deji of Akure,where we had the opportunity of taking photographs with Kabiyesi, he pointed out.
Meanwhile, Shagari commended the Ondo State Governor His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on all his achievements and begged him to do more for the betterment of the people of the State.
He advised customers in and outside Akure to come and patronize them at Town Hall Complex in Akure. “They will have no regrets doing business with us”, he stated.
Earlier,he has stated that, there is a good working relationship with him and the Police as well as other relevant security agencies in Ondo State.Alhaji Shagari Hassan who is set to bag an award of Integrity, Honesty and Transparency soonest declared that he will sustain the tempo with which the award is being conferred on him.
