The Ondo State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, Ambassador Ademola Odudu (JP) has stated that his purported sack from the office was the figment of imagination of enemies of progress,touts and anti democratic elements.
He made the disclosure while feeding questions from Journalists in his office recently following news from some media organizations, that he has been sacked from office,as a result of a Court Judgement.
According to him,he has no court case with anybody,he is not a Defendant nor Respondent in any case.
He admonished Journalists and other media practitioners to always correct check their facts , any information and news item before publishing offline or online.
He added that the news reported by some cross section of the media was a FAKE NEWS that can lead to breaking down of law and order.
“Our major preoccupation now is Ondo State as members of NURTW is geared towards reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in Ondo State as directed by His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa,the Executive Governor of Ondo State.
He urged members of the public and NURTW in Ondo State to disregard the fake news being circulated by the anti democratic forces who want to cause mayhem in Ondo State. As they are being sponsored by the opposition party,he stated.
Ambassador Ademola Odudu who was constitutional elected as the Ondo State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW enjoined members of the Union to always abide by the Rules of Engagement of the Union warning that anybody found wanting will face the penalty of his/her actions.
It will be recalled that since Ambassador Ademola Odudu was elected and sworn-in as the Ondo State Chairman of NURTW,he has repositioned the organization, maintaining peace and orderliness, paying monthly salary to former leaders of the Union, renovated the NURTW Ondo State Secretariat, empowerment to widows of deceased members, payment of hospital bills of ailing members as well as increased the salary of the members of State Council and other Staff.
