FIRST CLASS MONARCH JOINS ANCESTORS IN ONDO

The Owa of Idanre in Ondo State,
His Royal Majesty Oba Fredrick Adegunle Aroloye Arubiefin IV has joined his ancestors after 48 years on the throne.

He became the 26th Owa and paramount ruler of all Idanreland in September 1976, following the transition of his father, the 25th Owa, Oba Aladegbule Aroloye Arubiefin III.

The announcement of his demised was made known to the people of the town yesterday.

An official statement by High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire, the Lisa of Idanre land (traditional Prime Minister of Idanre), who confirmed the monarch’s passage on Wednesday morning, said necessary traditional rites are already being put in place at the palace.
